Unfortunately the customer only managed about 60 miles before the exact same fault occurred again. Once the van was back with us we removed the new (genuine Ford) vacuum pump to find it had broken up exactly the same as before.

Vacuum to the servo is created by an camshaft driven pump, it's on the right side of the head (as you look under the bonnet) If this has failed you won't get any assistance but things like the turbo actuator won't operate correctly as well
Hi All, Is there anyone on here with good knowledge of the vacuum pump on the 1.0 Ecoboost? I changed the one way valve on mine, that feeds the turbo, because it had come apart (common issue) and when I removed it there was engine oil in the port coming from the vacuum pump. Is this normal? Or sh

Luckily the ford dealer lent me the new ford Ecosport Titanium 1.0 125 for 2 days :) . Now it works just fine, no oil on the engine ( the block was thoroughly cleaned). Now I'm happy I purchased the extended 5year warranty. I'm still during the first 2 years ( purchased the focus on the 26th of January 2016) and the tachometer shows 18594 miles.
