Posted March 29, 2010. at the front left side of the gearbox there is a plug which a 3/8 drive fits, undo that and fill through there, its full once it starts leaking back out the hole. oh and the gearbox needs to be level (ie car on all 4 wheels) to get the right oil level. Gears stay in. No problem when stationary. Gears slide in and out easily. Possibly worse when cold, but still there even when warmed up good and proper after a 25 minute drive (having been through all the gears). Clutch has a good bit of meat on it. 1/3 to mid level bite point. All gears also feel a little 'baggy'.

The breather pipe is located on top of the gearbox below the air filter box. When adding oild/additive through the breather pipe you have to remove the filler.oil level plug to prevent the gearbox from overfilling. On the IB5 gearbox the oil level must be between 5 mm below the filler/oil level plug and flush with the filler/oil level plug.
